This poem was written by Cymru and posted on Narnia Web on 8/2/05 . I have her permission to post it here. Thank you, Cymru! The wind, it blows through ditto town And spins the empty air around, Where conversation hangs, Missing Texan twangs, And cricket legs beat the ground. O come back to the Square! Sit a spell, linger there. We haven't a plan To abandon you, man, So kindly, pull up your chair. Tales we will weave Of vampires named Steve, Jesters, and Gargoyles, Amidst major plot boils, A jolly hot summer reprieve. O Ditto Land Fair, Let's have a fair! With ribbon, maypoles, Pies and chocolatey ho hos, And bookish motley's who care. |
